The Charity Association “ Friends of the Child “ awards children that entered the University.

The event was hosted in the Municipal Council Conference Room provided by the Municipality of Athens.

Mrs. Yianna Panagiotidou, President of the Association, emphasized in her greeting speech :

No words can describe how proud and happy we are on your success. You have proved once more that with persistence and patience each and every one of us can make his dream come true despite the real day-to-day difficulties.

You have achieved your goal and laid the foundations for a better future. “

Mrs. Chrysoula Diamantopoulou, Head of the Philanthropic Department, was the last one to speak and she noted “ We promise that we shall continue to fight with all our strength and might in order to offer relief and protection to all the children seeking for help, hoping that this will provide a better tomorrow.”

The award-winning children spoke in very moving words about the way the “ Friends of the Child “ contributed to their success and about the relief they felt in difficult times : “ We are building our future stone by stone and “ The Friends of the Child” have placed a very important stone in our effort. “

Awards included both money and praise. The awards were presented by the President of the Association, Mrs. Yianna Panagiotidou, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Athens, Mr. Nikos Makropoulos, the Honorary President of the Association, Mrs. Aliki Valia, the President of the Association "Together for the Child", Mrs. Alexandra Martinou, the Head of the Antonios & Ioannis Angelikousis Foundation, Mrs. Ioanna Giannopoulou, the President of AMKE KARTERIA, Mr. Georgios Stasinopoulos, and the Vice-Presidents of the Association, Mrs. Lia Stefanidou and Mrs. Ninetta Velli

We thank the company Scotwork Hellas which, since 2018, stands at our Kindergarten's side and supplies us monthly with olive oil and butter for the preparation of the children's meals, offers significant monetary donations, and covers the PPC and EYDAP bills.

We thank the company Printec Hellas, which, since 2015, fully covers the speech-therapy program of our Kindergarten, and offers monetary donations, while the company's employees offer clothing and footwear for the children, as well as important food products for the preparation of breakfast meals.
