GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2015

On Monday March 30 at 5pm, the General Assembly of our Association took place at ATHINAIS CULTURAL CENTRE in the presence of the board of directors. The Association’s 2014 income and expenses were reviewed while budgeting for the year 2015 was approved by the members. Mrs. Marilena Mamidakis, Chairman of the Association, informed the members on the Financial and Administrative course of the Association. All activities fulfilled in 2014 were reviewed and future objectives were discussed. Mrs. Natassa Papakonstantinou, director of the Daycare Center, talked about the operation and accomplishments of the Daycare Center, while Mrs. Chrysoula Diamantopoulou, head of the Philanthropic Department, updated all information regarding the operation and accomplishments of the Philanthropic Department.

The meeting closed with an award ceremony. Specifically, Mr.Thanasi Nourala was awarded for his admission at the Merchant Navy Officer Academy. An achievement that was the result of amazing personal effort and the Association’s uninterrupted support. Mrs. Linda Akimbe was awarded for her heroic efforts, to keep her daughter and raise her with dignity under the most difficult circumstances. The Association’s uninterrupted support and Linda’s unique perseverance made her meet her goal.
