THE CHILDREN OF OUR NURSERY SCHOOL ARE PICKING OLIVES

On a sunny day, the Folk Museum Varnava welcomed us and the children shook the olive trees, with a spear cut in their measure, on the nets and their small hands quickly filled the baskets.

They learned many things about the olive tree, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom, and about the olives, such beneficial fruits!

They put on their little heads, olive wreaths and they felt for a while Olympic champions.

Our Nursery school tries to offer our children opportunities to discover secrets of nature and taste its smells.

We thank the CCC company which covered the cost of this educational activity.
