Medical treatment and preventive care programme for disadvantaged children

The program is designed for families with children in need,

and specifically for:

low-income families
residents of Attica
with a recent medical diagnosis from a public hospital

The programme can provide

pharmaceutical products for children with diabetes and thalassaemia
antibiotics and other medicines for sick children
physiotherapy
dental care
braces and orthopedic shoes, therapeutic equipment, wheelchairs and any other medical aids a child might need
laboratory tests
medical examinations and vaccinations for all children
medical visits to specialists as necessary for specific health problems facing children
coverage of the costs of CT and MRI scans etc.
coverage of the cost of special diets for malnourished children
prescription glasses
and anything else necessary to address emergency health issues of children under the protection of the Association

Application procedure

Applications for assessment are accepted by the Social Service Department of the Association, following a telephone call
to 210 7215901 (Monday to Friday 10:00-13:00)
